Gumboot Rally - Our Major Fundraising
On Saturday May 7, 2011, we held our 19th annual Gumboot Rally. Our busy volunteers and team members had a lot of fun together, in events that included Catch'n Boots, Basket Boots, Bowling for Boots, Skinny Ankles, Marbleboots, Boot Shoot and Boot Toss. Steve Elms entertained the kids of all ages with balloon creations. By the time everyone had enjoyed bannock and hot dogs, the Gumboots arrived to serenade us, and Jean Vivian of Canadian North came to present the grand prizes. By the time the final tallies were in, $26,700 dollars had been raised for the Association. Thank you to these special people:
